Olsen 'Pic' of the Day: Ashley in Beverly Hills

Ashley yesterday in Beverley Hills. Cute sandal/heels.

Great shot of the new heels.

Still sporting the Givenchy 'Nightingale' Bag. Gotta love Ashley for that consistency, she has said that she finds a bag she loves and wears it to death, then moves on to a new one...doing that a few times a year.

I have lots of beautiful bags but it seems most of the time I go out the door with my LV Speedy 40, its huge (yes I picked the enormous size that some people don't even know exists, as I said before, for me: bigger=better), water resistant, practical and beautiful, plus I figure it has the least chance of getting stolen, with all the fakes in NYC, I assume those not really in the know would figure it was fake anyway and not bother!

Tell me do you use the same bag daily or switch it up often?

yup, those are good sandals. i can't do the h.h. much anymore. i find my speedy 30 a bit too small these days. is the 40 a lot bigger? i use the 30 as my everyday bag and it's pretty trashed. i have inherited some lovely little bags but find them impractical. still dreaming about the balenciaga...

hey a- more morabito pics. i want to see how it opens!!!

The 40 is quite a bit bigger, and I know this from experience. My first LV was a Speedy 30 (years ago), and when I got it, I had asked for the biggest and this is what they presented me...I think they may have mentioned one size bigger (maybe) but they said "oh we think this is the best size for you"....they kind of push the 30's...now had I been more aware I would have known to ask for the 40...not only is it bigger (and therefore better, hehe) but because of the size it also stands out in the crowd more from the 30's and 25's everywhere. Interestingly my 30 is 'made in USA' and my 40 is 'made in France' which I SOOOOO prefer...I have been told by those at LV that the 40's are sometimes harder to get (not always in stock...which also may explain why they took the 30 out when I first bought my bag...maybe they didn't have any 40's and still wanted to make a sale?), they make fewer, and they are usually/maybe always 'made in France' (so then they take a bit longer to ship also), since the 30 is most in demand and/or most pushed they manufacture them here (the U.S.) to keep up with demand. There is also a 35...which funnily enough the saleslady tried to push on me when I was getting the 40 (she couldn't imagine herself using the 40)...I think the average person is sort of scared of the giant bag...NOT ME!!! But in all seriousness the 35 is cool too, I think its really what looks best on your frame! The other great thing about the 40 over the 35 or 30 is that it's really hard to stuff it full..so it hangs much more beautifully, my 30 was always maxed and looking sort of bloated...my 40 is very PoshSpice and anoxeric even when I've got all my goods in there. OMG, I did not just endorse anxorexic bags did I? Ha. Yes, indeed. I admit I have always envied those girls with less in their bags and the way they sort of hang there...

Oh and as a P.S. the 40 and 35 are not even that much more expensive than the 30..., they go up by increments of 25$, the 25 is 595$, the 30 is 620$, the 35 is 645$ and the 40 is 670: wahoo 'more for your money'.

I wish I could say I change my bag every day, but I tend to carry the same one for daytime for weeks at a time (always switch for evening though). It's part laziness and part forgetfulness. Whenever, I change bags, I always forget to transfer something important, so I avoid it.

Yeay! I have the 40 too, and glad to know that we're both proud to carry it around, despite what people say!!
